Lead Electrical Assembler ​

Job Summary

Lead Electrical Assembler assists Electrical Production Manager in the manufacturing of PC board assemblies and cables. Lead duties include preparing jobs, tracking parts, managing the work flow, quality inspections and hands on assembly.

Essential Functions

  • Gather parts, drawings and documentation to kit parts needed for an assembly
  • Determine if any molds, assembly fixtures and special tooling is required
  • Estimate labor hours
  • Track part orders
  • Ensure the quality of assemblies
  • Hands on assembly of PC Board and Cables including molding for cables
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Promote a positive, professional atmosphere and support activities that enhance the welfare and morale of BLUSA’s employees
  • Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary for performing the job
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • Must be able to speak, write, and read English and interpret
  • Work overtime as needed when business demands require
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Need basic computer navigation and utilization skill
  • Able to work independently to meet production expectations

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Technical school degree or Completion of an Apprenticeship Program is preferred
