Data Entry/Inventory Specialist

Summary – Diversified opportunity to support multiple functions and contribute to different departments. Primary focus will be on data entry, researching inventory status and customer communications.

Essential Functions

  • Enter inventory data into computer files or database systems
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents and update existing data
  • Research discrepancies, investigate status of inventory and follow through to resolution
  • Organize, copy, file, etc. paperwork
  • Monitor the business process flow affecting inventory
  • May be asked to perform other duties as required by business needs

Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office- Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Basic understanding of databases and or enterprise systems
  • Fast typing skills (>60 WPM); 10-Key is strongly preferred (>8,000 KPH)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail, time management and deadline driven skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
